When you are in the Lobby, looking for a poker table to sit down at what should you look at the most? Hands/hour, Average pot size, or the players/flop %. Trying to build up a nice bank roll and not to waste your time at tables where the payout is no good.
-At limit tables, its recommended the highest flop seen %...to a point. I find that if the stat is over 75 and the average pot is a rather high number (meaning they're continuing postflop with the raises), my play isnt nearly as profitable - I'm forced to tighten up enough that my range of playable hands is small enough that I'm not making the money I could elsewhere, even when I do hit. Thankfully (sorta) I havnt seen a flop % that high in my limits for quite a while, even on Pacific.
-Maybe this would be a good time to add that obviously you still have to work at table selection, even when you're playing at a site that displays flop %, etc. On busy sites, tables change so quickly and many players are attracted to a room with favorable stats. You may find yourself at a table that has just recently gone from 5 players to 10 yet the stats haven't caught up. If you look around and everyone's folding it doesn't matter what the % says.
